Meaning "Lightning" in Lingara, Lox is a type of Ancient weapon that transmits destructive energy point to point over a relatively short distance.
The Lox generators designed by the Alterra rise above the ship/city they are housed within and deploy petal-like emitters around a central core. Once the weapon's capacitor is fully charged, they unleash an orange lightning that can damage multiple targets if they are close enough for the 'lightning' to arc from one to another.
